A theoretical research exploring a model for compact but flexible living that is environmentally and socially sustainable, and provides full human amenity. Standardised and modular, the design is theoretically capable of accommodating an infinite number of inhabitants in an infinite number of living configurations. The result is a framework for a flexible building in equilibrium in itself and its context, determined by the natural balance between economic, social, environmental, engineering and architectural factors.
